Aroma/Nose: Lovely, low-key red-berry nose, vanilla and noble woods Flavor/Pallet: Silky, elegant, smooth with fine supple palate and a surprising zing of acidity at the center of all the plush fruit. Subtle oak notes, enhancing rich fruit— echoing the nose—but the concentration and good balance augur 5-7 years of positive development in the cellar. Balanced with touches of minerals and flowers of the aftertaste.
Finish: Some chunky tannin in the finish accompanied by licorice flavors and a long mineral end. Excellent acidity that provides life and freshness.
